This was incredible! I remember playing this and Second Suite in F in high school. Love Gustav Holst.

10:09 I love this gesture by Dr. Haithcock! That’s just plain artistry at its best!

One of the best interpretations of the intermezzo I have heard so far!

Great music, there's something really special in symphonic bands and the music they have in their repertories ^^

I loved playing this piece! I love the low brass, low woodwinds. It was pretty tough piece for your lower instruments and i always loved a good challenge. :)

We just started playing this masterpiece for our middle school (yes middle school) symphonic band. It is very challenging, but we still have time before our performance in June I love this piece!

i would have to argue this is even better payed than north texas. The sound is very balanced.

We played this my first year of college and all I remember was how much I hated 8:10 - 8:20. I was the only euphonium and we didn't have any horns so I was all alone playing notes that I had never played until then. That Bb was my worst nightmare for the entire semester.

Nice performance, and what an amazing room!

Definitely a good way to keep that many clarinet players busy and out of trouble at the same time.

I finished reading the comments right as the song ended
Edit: it didn't take me 11 minutes to read them I just started reading when there were 3 minutes left

Is that a bass sax growling away? I like the addition.

So amazing... also the trumpets aren't powering over the entire band this time.
