I went to Moscow in 2018. I felt safer there than any major U.S. city.
The subways were pristine. People were scraping gum off the sidewalks. Street sweepers and water trucks were going back and forth all night.
I asked, why are they cleaning everywhere? I was told, people who want to come to Russia and don't have anything to offer, no education, no skills are given civil service jobs. They don't get free money, what you call welfare money.
People think of Russia in a negative light but it's safe. If you try and F around you will quickly find out that crime, filth, violence is not tolerated.

I drove through large parts of Russia with a cattle truck from the Netherlands with young dairy cows to many farms for 6 years. I can confirm what Tucker says. Nice people and nice country.

I was in USA and Russia. It was really scary to walk in US cities full of obviously drugged dangerous people...in Russia I didn't experience that. Yes, he is right

I think if I had the funds to move to Russia, I would. Such friendly people, no trash everywhere, and no homelessness. I've heard of Americans living there and they love it!
