From the start of the video I wouldn't be able to tell their voice apart without the coloured subtitles. They have the exact same pitch. Gura's voice is just a little bit more nasal, I think.

Mumei's enunciation is a lot more precise than Gura's (you can hear it best in the "oh nyo", where she pronounces every letter, falling just short of saying "oh nee-yo". Otherwise, it's incredibly difficult to tell.

Was listening to this in Bluetooth and I legit can’t tell them apart since I’m not looking at the screen.

I noticed this from the very beginning and was really wondering when these two would finally touch on this topic and do something like this. Most of the time it’s easy to tell them apart as it’s only when mumei says something very specific or ina Certain manner. In this video when they actively tried to mimic one another it was genuinely confusing. 1:15 was just weird I’d have no idea who said it if I wasn’t looking at the screen.

I think mumei is just need to put a bit more childlike energy in her voice to sound like Gura and Gura just has to sound a bit more passive to sound mumei. They should do one stream disguising as each other and see if anyone notices

I remember on the let's play group Achievement Hunter there used to be two guys with voices so similar that it often confused first time fans. When they were paired together in teams they would be given the name "Team Same Voice."

I now kind of want to repurpose that name for when Gura and Mumei collab together...
