''Walking'' down the main line...

A short "stroll' along the main line from Athens to Lianokladi, at various spots,along with the good friends of mine AlexSk, Basilis 1967, MLWA450 and my brother Kostas903. Near Ipaton area an AEG DMU on local train 1511 from Lianokladi to Athens passes quickly. A very nice horn saluting us by the oncoming IC 51 to Athens,passing Davlia station at 180 km/h. Just after that train 884 to Kalabaka passes by at 160 km/h. Next,IC 53 saluting us as it passes by Amfiklia station, on the mountainous part of the single line and IC 52 to Thessaloniki follows. We now move to a picturesque iron bridge,near Lilaia station,under which river Kifissos accompanies the passing trains and a WW two firing tower lays silent. An AEG DMU passing first,on local train 3520 to Lianokladi...IC 54 and IC 55 follow. Between the passage of this two, a draizine passing came to our surprise.
