Dude, I really liked that you played the pedal through all your basses. That was awesome. Hope you continue doing it. It gives a way better idea of how the effect would sound in more than just a p bass.

Testing the pedal with different basses is brilliant. If you could also test with different amp that would be perfect. The type of amp you use with different amps makes a massive difference.

That's a pretty cool sounding bass overdrive pedal. I totally dig how it sounded with the schecter stiletto and the fender pj and jazz basses. it sounds killer. \m/

Piece of advice from an audio engineer: NEVER use a kick drum mic on a bass cab! They have a very sculpted frequency response designed to boost the boom and click frequencies in bass drums, and don't sound good on tonal instruments. Some much better mics to use on bass cab: EV RE-20; Shure SM-7B; Heil PR40.

Damn. I have the alpha omicron but I really want the b3k now. I could use this for overdrive sounds and the alpha for distortion. Apparently there’s a difference between overdrive and distortion. Low key just figured that out 😅

This thing is listed 85% of the time as a preamp and not just a stompbox. Microtubes website says nothing about the version being a preamp? Can anyone actually clarify?
