I've had tons of cringy moments in my life. Nowadays I'm overly cautious about what I say to others because I don't wanna get those same feelings again

Being aware you're cringe is just the best. Never let them change you.

I think being cringe is something that only you perceive, and for others they will just think that you've made a mistake and moves on

Being a loner and avoiding social interaction has kept the cringe away

There's something I want to say, if you cringe at seeing the actions of your past self.
First, don't see it as self-degredation. You were younger at that time, maybe physically, maybe emotionally, maybe expertise-wise. But now you're older. And with age and time comes wisdom and understanding.
If you cringe at your younger self for something you still do or used to do, that feeling of cringe is actually a sign that you've improved. Ever cringed at your past self dancing or singing or performing? That's because now you can sing, dance, or perform better than you were in the past. And use it as reassurance - the more you do at your own craft, the better you'll become. Never let your past hold you back, and always take any mistakes you did in the past as watch-outs for you in the present and future.

If you read the entirety of this comment, *steal the show and never be ashamed.*

I was bullied for 10 years (or even longer), I only had two friends during this time and even they didn't always stand by me or even stayed away from me at times. I had developed a real fear of people and was afraid that I would appear cringe to others. But I later learned that I wasn't to blame for the bullying, I just wasn't a person who would accept peer pressure, I preferred to do what I thought was right and that didn't sit well with others at all. I've always tried to live a good life, not smoking, not drinking alcohol, dressing decently, etc. A lot of people couldn't handle that, so I was the outsider who was constantly bullied and left out by others. Even though I've learned that being bullied isn't my fault and my fear of people has decreased a lot, I'm still a bit afraid inside that something like this could happen again, which is why it took me quite a long time until I really trust other people. Whenever I meet new people, I'm a little afraid that they might not like something about me and that they will reject me again.

the thing is, you can barely say anything without being labeled as "cringy" now, especially if you're still in school

this happened to me in school when I was younger, that's when I began to have low self-esteem, it started when I fell into the floor, and my classmates keep reminding me of these mistakes of mine whenever they see me, it's ok for me at first but then gossips started spreading and that's when I gradually started to hide and started comparing myself to others

Not even going to lie here, when you said "good job!" I literally teared up, be cause I never get complimented usually.

Thank you for these videos. As a person who overthinks about the future and life your videos give me comfort and help me understand that others are also facing this problem. Thank you once more

I'm at a level in my life where everything I do is cringe and I'm freaking proud of it. I've spent the early years of my life being in a cocoon and doing things perfectly, but now, I am "unhinged". And I am not effing embarrassed anymore. As long as no one is hurt, I don't give a tiny rat's butt!

Maybe i’m cringe; i’d say i’m so uncomfortable that i make other people uncomfortable which in turn makes me even more uncomfortable.

Also known as anxiety

Being cringe is like MY biggest fear. Embarrassment is an awful feeling. Something that I'm trying to force myself to confront right now....

Of my Autistic personality, having cringe moments is part of who I am as a person especially of my jokes and laughter towards a comment or story. I had many stories to tell to people about my cringe moments but I find when I tell a joke or I quote something from a movie it makes people laugh. A cringe moment I had with my great aunt as a laughable moment was I looked like Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory stuff like that. I took it as a compliment but I can act like Sheldon or Abed from Community of their Autistic traits.

I once told my teacher I loved her in front of everyone in the graduation year. (I liked her as a person, that type of love)

Yes, I'm cringe. 😂

It was an impulse scream lmao😅

This video came at the right moment. I had a cringe situation at work yesterday. It will haunt me forever but I've learned to just move on since I know my cringe moments will never end. 😅
