My first real bikepacking adventure! I decided to explore the lower middle region of Sweden, just before the temperatures drop and everything turns white :)

The level of production is incredible. The panning shots, the framing, the colours, the music, the cuts, the narration. Fantastic!

You are such an amazing woman with all your adventures. You live your life to the absolute fullest and I really admire you for that.

I cannot understand how Rosie films herself from afar with a drone hovering so still, so high in the sky, whilst we watch this tiny little dot of red that is Rosie peddling forward whilst at the same time hearing the crunching gravel beneath her tires. Yes, the production is outstanding, as is your endurance, dear Rosie.

I have no interest in camping (or cycling for that matter), I guess I'm just too old and appreciate being comfortable. Still I find your video fascinating, and what impresses me the most (aside from your "sisu" ) is the production quality. I would still be impressed if you had said "oh, I have a camera crew following me around" but the fact it's only you behind all of it is nothing short of fantastic. I can only imagine the time and effort going into planning and shooting all the B-roll, and yet again I have to give you lots of credit for your exceptional drone footage. I gave up watching regular TV years ago and I probably spend 3 to 5 hours most days on YouTube because of all the fascinating people on the platform. Your channel in particular is why I keep coming back day after day, and I will do so until the day you switch the lights out. Well done Rosie for a terrific video AND channel! 👍👏

It's amazing how different humans can be from each other. Never in a million years would I want to ride a bike that far on my own, but I wouldn't like to live alone either. Still, I find myself watching your videos in awe.

The placename Ed is pronounced with a long e (would be spelled Eed in Dutch). The meaning of the name is "isthmus" or "a route used for carrying boats between two waterways".

It's a huge country and a small world . I was born and raised in Finland, loving the forest but spending the night in a tent in a forest, no way!. There are creatures in the forest, real and unreal ! damn, you are brave ! That magical place you mention in the video 16:47 is called björnsjön, bear lake !

Wow Rosie, that place you were in at 23:03 has it all - lake, forest, hills. Just so gorgeous. Could see you building your own cottage in a place like that, or further north. It's much wilder up there.

The transition at 26:31 took my breath away.

The ferry ride was visually stunning! The light! The colour! The water!

I enjoyed finding your stops on the map and seeing how much ground you covered in this trip and your reflection on the freedom of longer back/bike packing trips was gently encouraging. I do hope you have more bike tours planned.

I have a cabin in the south of Sweden you can borrow, if you need to dry or heat up on your bike travels. 😊

Rosie I long to read a book about your adventures. Feelings, hidden gems, camping. It’s so peaceful listening to your stories of living. Not to be deterred from whatever may be. Safe travels.

Hello people outside of Scandinavia.
To cycle in on dirt roads in this part of
Sweden is extremely demanding.
The landscape is demanding, wild, cold.
It can take a week before you meet a human.
As a Swede, I have to say that it is an achievement
which not many of us who follow Wild Rosie can handle.

Off the record, Wild Rosie talks about
gravel roads. In Sweden, there are roughly 300, 000 km of gravel roads.
Some is private, but everyone can cycle on the private roads.

8:30 Edsbyn, the world's largest path passes here
ski competition takes place, the Vasaloppet.

8:53 Wild Rosie says "a big country".
She is in Edsbyn. The gap to
the city of Kiruna in northern Sweden shortest
the distance to cycle or drive is approximately 1100 Km

We all need a break away from our routine, Rosie. Glad you took the opportunity. "Holidays" sure make you appreciate home :)
