The youngest New Zealand MP speech breaks the internet

An animated speech by a 21-year-old New Zealand parliamentarian, Hana-Rawhiti Maipi-Clarke, from December 2023 went viral on social media. The youngest MP in 170 years of the country's political history is from the indigenous Maori community. She runs the Maori community garden in the town of Hunty. She performed the traditional 'haka' or 'war cry' as part of her maiden speech in the parliament.
