Snapchat filters made me so depressed as a late teen and young adult, especially when the gender swap filter came out. The female one was a drastic difference and the male one wasn't as drastic of a difference. My phone also automatically has smoothing on in the selfie camera and when I realised it looked nothing like me, I turned all of that off and I only use filters for my twitch and insta profile pictures because I love makimg my hair pop (it's dyed cherry red with a feature piece I change the colour of every few months)
