Messi is light years better than anybody else and he is the best to ever do it no doubt. That's not even an " opinion " anymore, that changed after 2012 to a fact already. Everyone says Messi is the goat because he has a World Cup. World Cup requires a good team. Ronaldo never had a good team to take him to the finals. Messi always had a great team yet only won one WC. It’s a great achievement but not one that swings goat status to Messi
