Echobeatz - Mas Que Nada (1998 12' Single)

"Mas que nada" is a song written and originally recorded in 1963 by Jorge Ben (currently known as Jorge Ben Jor) on his debut album Samba esquema novo. The song was covered in 1966 by Sérgio Mendes, becoming one of the latter's signature works.

Echobeatz released their version in 1998, and was a popular single at the time, scoring a #10 on the UK Top 40 singles charts and being a popular rotation on the radio and on UK TV Music video stations of the time.

Sérgio Mendes teamed up with the Black Eyed Peas and re-released a version of Mas Que Nada.
