How to Reset Windows 10 Without Losing Data or Programs

There is always a time when Windows 10 breaks and needs to be recovered, whether its infected with malware or viruses or Windows 10 is just broken. I will show you a great way to recover Windows 10 without losing any of your files or programs. The good thing about RollBack RX is its free. Its better than System Restore that is built into Windows 10 which is turned off by default. RollBack RX also lets you recover date from snapshots of your choice that you created. It even has a remote connection built in.

Going to take a look at this.

Would be great for helping older people who always getting in a mess with there pc and only use it for basic tasks so don’t have many files .

Definitely better than a windows reinstall then having it reinstall antivirus and things .

I may add this to my standard list of programs i install when I setup a new pc for someone

What is the advantage of this over taking a drive image with, say, Macrium or Clonezilla?

You Sir are a bloody genius, I wish I had known this five weeks ago, Windows 10 is dreadful when it comes to restoring things, just getting into safe mode is a trial in itself.
Do you also have tips about Windows 7? I still use that.

I am a Windows 10 Insider tester, and I found that with this installed it would not (for the first time ever), install any new windows versions released to the Insider group.
Does anyone know if this problem would apply to upgrading to latest public Windows 10 upgrade...?
Great video though, keep up the good work!

Just do a factory reset and backup files to other drive/partition. Can't go back to a snapshot if its already infected or softly bricked by a malware and no snapshots were made by a kid who doesn't know but to play browser games, idk if it still exist for flash player sites

Hey Brian! can you please make a video on how to maintain temperatures of both CPU and GPU, my CPU temps are shooting upto 93% without any load or running anything else in the background, yes I have turn on the Intel turbo boost in BIOS as I need to edit clips and that requires a high clock speed, but the temps are also high when idling, It will be a great help if you consider it! 🙂. Regards!

only one problem I can see with this Brian, most of the time people get infected, while running the O/S, now if they take a snapshot it's only going to restore it to a state by where they still have the same problem, and most of the time in my experience the O/S will not even boot, so this software is kinda redundant in some respects, the only way to do it properly is to clone it after a full re-install then incremental back-ups Brian, just my take on it mind and god knows I've lost count how many times I've had to re-install Windows

I guess there is no option to save the snapshots to an external HD or Cloud, just incase something happens to hard drive. This software reminds me of that ClickFree software that came in hard drive or wand.

hum. If the free version only got 7 snapshots . Does it mean that if u use 7 times you have to upgrade to Pro ?
If it's so then i will prefer system restore point + shadow explorer. Good video anyway. Keep it up!

Er...I take It this software is no good for recovery if you can't get past a BSOD, when you can't even boot into Windows, or you've been hacked by Ransomware? Can you run it at BIOS level?

"Without Losing Data or Programs", my luck is so bad, for some reason after the reinstall, I used it for a few minutes then sudden shutdown. I discovered my hdd to be makiing scretching and buzzing sounds and now it's dead :(

Oh I was waiting for something like this, Windows 10 is actually so buggy in my case even though I have 8 gigs of ram and 4 cores at 2.50 Ghz. Should be enough run Windows 10 smoothly.
