Katapola bay is one of the largest natural harbors in the Aegean. Located 5 km southwest of the capital. Amorgos Town, it is a beautiful and very picturesque harbor which was built around the three villages: Katapola, Rachidi, and Xilokeratidi. All equally beautiful, with traditional architecture and built in an idyllic location, they are ideal to stay in. You will find hotels, rooms and tavernas overlooking the sea where you will enjoy excellent traditional recipes. In the area is the Virgin Katapoliani, the temple dedicated to Her Grace is a representative sample of Cycladic architecture, built on the remains of an ancient temple.
