Draw Tip Tuesday - How To Come Up With Ideas

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday!

I’ve been making these Draw Tip Tuesday videos for a while now, and sometimes people ask me: ‘how do you come up with ideas?’
And in fact, that question is interesting to answer not just for draw tip Tuesdays, but for art in general.
We’re all different, so the way we come up with ideas is different for everyone.
One thing is certain: You can’t just sit around and wait for an idea to come to you.
Here are some random tips, based on my own experience.

Thank you for this really expansive list of where to get inspiration!! So many new ideas that I never, ever, would have thought of. A lot of great tips. I LOVE to look thru magazines, all kinds- and just pick things throughout to draw in my journal. From shoes, to shelves, to wheelbarrows, etc

Thanks for the great advice! I sometimes find myself playing certain type of music when I'm out of ideas - and in some cases a phrase from the song or the overall feeling may inspire me :)
