I have 3 of them and need to keep them indoors over winter, because they're still young and winters in my country can be damaging. Need to note you might need to wait up to 10 years for fruits. Luckily the leaves are nice too😅

About a mile from my house in Parma Heights Ohio, there is a little creek where they grow like crazy. There must be 150 trees. Also saw one at the Cleveland Zoo, up at the top by the big cat cages, there is a bench, and a pawpaw tree gives it shade every year.

I GOT 4 PAW PAWS. TWO are mature and around 20 feet. The fruit is amazing!

I have two youngsters in my front yard… three years old since sprouted

Put steel fence posts and will put 1.5” white tubing to posts via zip ties and then make a ‘ring’ so I can drape shade cloth for them and two native persimmon trees until they reach near 8’

Some people love them but personally I think they’re too musky. Like a cross between a overripe banana and a really ripe cantaloup. Not a fan of musky fruits.
