I had no clue they even made any of these games besides the GBA games. It's almost like reaching out at something from an alternative timeline.

I always wondered why advance wars seemed so perfect as a turn based strategy. Well it turns out they've had a very long time to perfect their games!

Days of Ruin was so underrated. Everyone should play it just for the story.

I'm just here to say that battalion wars was amazing. One of the things you didn't see in the video was the fact that you can freely switch between troops on the battlefield. Advance wars is great too, However battalion wars was a game concept that was amazing to me at the time and has proceeded to stick with me ever since.

My goodness. I knew of the existence of Super Famicom Wars and each of the Advance Wars games, but I didn't know the Gameboy has some Wars games let alone three of them. Same with Battalion Wars 1 and 2. Literally no one talks about those ones.

I hope there is a reboot for the Battalion Wars series. I just installed Battalion Wars 1 and 2 on my PC 2 days ago and I have a lot of fun replaying those games. They are very good and I whish to see a third game made one day. Be it a sequel or a reboot, but the gameplay is fun and Battalion Wars 2 improved in so many aspects to the first one. Good memories...

Watching gameplay footage of something that burned itself into your mind 15 years ago is the weirdest thing. Remembering things you didn't remember, if you get me.

The art style, feel, and OST of Advance wars 1 + 2 were unmatched. Never could quite get into the DS versions. So stoked about the remake, should keep me going for another 20 years 😂

It's criminal that they left this series dormant for so long.

Battalion Wars was awesome. Would LOVE to see them remastered on the Switch

I appreciate that you put the funniest CO in Super Famicom Wars somewhere in the showcase.

Oh, and Yamamoto too, I guess.

If I made a list of video game series that deserve a playable fighter in Super Smash Bros., this would be at the top.
