Attack on Titan: Requiem | Episode Release Date (Fan-Animation)

English version of the episode coming out January 15th.

This animated project is based on the fan-made Doujinshi "AoT no Requiem" and the Requiem Theory, we only plan to adapt Chapter 1 of the series.

Japanese version of our Requiem episode will release later as well. Thanks for all the support everyone!

If anybody at the eclypse team sees this: just make an update. Make a simple little update. Doesn’t have to be chaotic nor dramatic, just say “hey guys, issue on our end, we will keep you posted” even if the issue is far more dire than what you want to let on.

I get a feeling that this choice to remain silent stems from what has happened with previous projects where they’ve had to be cancelled or what not and you don’t want to unearth the same disappointment, which I understand.

Just know that we support you wholeheartedly and the effort and love you’ve clearly put into this project. We the fans are grateful for the work you’ve created out of your own time and passion. Upon release, I certainly will be donating due to the sheer effort put into this.

But eclypse, please don’t feel the fear or lack of confidence to temporarily disappoint the fans and inform them that things are a bit shaky on your end. I understand wanting to avoid a repeat of the feelings of the past, but going forward it is better to keep that reputation that your word is good, that fans can rely on your release windows and, if anything goes wrong, will at least hear word of the fact that there is a delay. Professionalism as a studio is an important thing, as I’m sure you guys will continue to make many more projects after this one!

Again, we the fans love and support you guys! Once the episode is released, all the disappointment and frustration will be instantly alleviated anyway, so cheers to that! I hope my words about actions in the future resonate with someone at the studio. Good day!

For those of you people asking where the episode is, they said in the comments it will be released at the ender of the day in Central Time Zone (it's almost 10PM in the CST) so we have at least 2 more hours.
