The all-female band, Fanny, had a top 40 hit with 'Butter Boy' back in 1974, so the Go Go's were not the first all-female band to have a hit.  I think 'Butter Boy' didn't go farther because the band broke up as it was climbing the charts, so there was no promotion.

Me want Gina. I don’t care if she is in a hospital. I like their rotten version of We Got the Beat. Belinda reminds me of Terry Murphy from WLS-Chicago and Hard Copy. As far as the rest of them it’s like what my Grandmother said, they all get married.

The Supremes were the all time female group. The GO- GOS can't hold a candle to the Motown WOMEN.😁😎
