Oxy went from being almost bankrupt in the 1950s to one of the biggest oil & gas companies in the world throughout the 2000s to almost bankrupt again. They built their empire almost exclusively through numerous acquisitions. But was their acquisition of Anadarko Petroleum their last?

Would be nice if you include info such as Buffet receiving shares as dividend each quarter, diluting our stocks, and more importantly the lower the stock price the more number of shares he will receive. What do you all think Buffet would do now?

Good analysis on Oxy but the background music was so loud and annoying you could hardly understand what was being said . Please redo this video with no background music, speak slower and make this video longer. Oxy has had such an interesting history that just skimming over it does not do it justice.

Very well covered. Seems that the company’s DNA was built on acquisitions. In the long run the company was bound to make an acquisition that would destroy the firm. It’s name is Andarko. Once again, great historical coverage of the firm
