Join us in this episode as we focus on one of the more rare modern BMWs... the 330i Performance package.

These cars were BMWs answer to those clamoring for a 4 door M3 and... while the cars only make 10 more horsepower and 8 lb-ft of torque more than the standard 330i, they created a completely different animal.

Acceleration is brisk, turn-in crisp, and brakes feel as though they have some extra bite.

These cars were a bit slow to sell when they were new but, once the enthusiast market got a hold of them, they became very popular.

As a result, full depreciation hit about 2 years ago and prices have risen since with examples trading hands between eight and fourteen thousand.

This car is a bit more special as it appears to be one of thirteen built in this spec... most likely due to the automatic transmission.

The car featured was recently purchased by Kyle and he is thrilled as he's been chasing one of these for years.

We consider this to be a performance bargain based on the experience delivered.

My dad got this car new in 2005, and right now I drive it. It has almost 195k miles, and it drives amazing, I really enjoy it.

Aside from some minor needed repairs such as rolling some windows down, a bit of fabric coming undone, and a few dings from people hitting the car, it performs great, runs and sounds amazing.

It almost feels like it drives almost brand new!

Had mine since Jan 2017'
Mystique Blue Sedan. Alcantara Interior throughout, manual 6 speed box. Great car. Never get rid of it.

Great great car you bought, I just bought a 04 sedan zhp with 201k miles runs great handles great very economical reliable great all around car.
You are right about thinking its going to be or feel like a modified e46 but it doesn't, feels so much better .

not really a bargain anymore every kid with a beat up zhp asking m3 money, i just bought an e46 m3 6 speed manual coupe hardtop w premium package and cold weather package for 12.7k

I will take 89 octane just fine. Check the DISA VALVE. Try to keep it as original as possible. Maybe a navigation headunit.

I have a 2004 330i Sedan with Smg transm and 214, 000 miles on it. The paint needs a touch up but runs pretty peppy with some love needed in the driver seat leather. How much should I ask for it if I want to sell it?

I have someone offering to trade an 04 330i zhp sedan with 6 speed. Unfortunately 245k miles but said motor was just “refreshed” with handful of motor and suspension mods with a big ole wing lol. He wants to trade me for my 11 g37x coupe. Auto. 135k miles. Mainly stock but is a good looking car with lapis blue and painted roof and wheels black. What yall think? That’s a lot of miles on a Beamer I feel but then again I don’t know shit about beamers 😂
