I remember my first time in London (2015) I was 20 years old walking around an underground station. In the middle of the chaos and the people I saw a poster that called my attention. It was the promo for the “In Dream” album and featured a visual from this video. I was instantly moved by the beauty of it. I took a picture of it and continued my trip. When I came back home I did a little research about Editors and fell in love since then. The thing that made me love them even more was the fact that when I saw that poster in the middle of that London station I was hoping that the music that was being promoted sounded equivalent to the quality of that visual. I was shocked when I found out the sound was far beyond what I expected. Now Editors has become my favorite band, I love every. single. song. 🖤

And artistically-musically, although my least favourite of the 3 new singles,
another interesting tune from the Stafford combo !

But even though keyboards are a great instrument, i can't help hoping for
a return to guitar-esque sound for some next album ! Many fans are longing
for this... so why not make everyone happy, technology fans AND guitar-fans ?

God I Love this band!! Been with them from the start!! Not every album has hit the heights but without doubt part of every album has!! I am a synth man born and bred and yet 'The weight of your love' is my favourite album to date!! I love the fact that they experiment!! What would be the point of writing a rehash of 'The back room' five albums on!! Keep evolving I say and don't look back look forwards! You will lose fans and you will gain fans thats the nature of the business but the fact that you are still writing, recording and gigging to european dates 10 years on says you are right up there with the best!!

I pressed the like button in the first few seconds and I was not disappointed. Knew what to expect and Editors do exactly what they say on the tin! Tom's dark, edgy vocals are so distinct and the bands uniqueness is for evermore. :)
