In this video I show you how to propagate house plants from cuttings via three methods; water, moss and perlite. I also advise on where to cut when propagating and how to gage where the new growth will sprout from. The steps are easy so ideal for those who are new to propagation with a variety of plant species. Having watched this video I hope you feel confident in propagating house plants from cuttings.

I love that you demonstrated the different ways to propagate cuttings. Keep us updated on which one worked better than the other.

I love watching the propagation videos, they are so full of hope and promise. This is a really thorough video, thank you. I have some micans and scandens in perlite, some wetstick adansonii in sphag (they are taking ages to do anything), a rootless mini orchid in a closed food container with moist sphag, and a cutting of the verrucosum in sphag as well (which is doing very very well). I also decided to chop my Pastazanum as the creeping stem was very long and leafless. I put that in a closed tub in aroid soil and stuck it in the cupboard with the water heater is and I see a new root or shoot emerging (I don't care which as long as it is alive). It was an expensive plant and my husband thought I had lost my mind by chopping it, but both sections had good roots and both sections are still alive. I hope you and Royce are healthy and well.

Hey Niche, what would you suggest for verrucosum cuttings, water or perlite for propogation?
