If safety is an issue maybe a “ Safety Net” for backup would work. Instead of announcing a 16 ft drop to the concrete.

I agree with landing on your feet. However, you guys should really add a safety net so no one truly injures themselves.

perhaps if the contest is about jumping high, a hazard where jumping 1 foot too high kills you is a bad idea and you should get more crash pads

I think some type of net would be nice, but I think for technicality sake, and for the sake of showing actual in air control landing on your feet or at least feet first is definitely a good rule

I agree that adding the feet rule is good, but I think if you touch your feet to the ground, and then trip backwards it should still count.
