India-China Faceoff: New Satellite Images Depict Extremely Fluid Situation At LAC | Exclusive

The first set of high-resolution satellite imagery since the preemptive operation by the Indian Army at the southern bank of Pangong Lake shows an extremely fluid situation at the Line of Actual Control (LAC).The latest imagery accessed by India Today suggests that the Chinese claims of Indian Army crossing the LAC may not be true at all.

While there are no visible signs of occupation of the peak of Helmet top mountain by either forces, images show presence of a cluster of Chinese military vehicles and camouflaged tents at the bottom of the mountain. The tracks to the empty Helmet top are seen leading from the Chinese side.

The messages here are a bit mixed up. In the early part of the video, they say that Helmet Top is unoccupied, and that Chinese troops are at the bottom of the mountain. Later, they say that India controls Helmet Top and Black Top. In fact, this confusion seems to exist across multiple channels. Some say India is on top of these two peaks; others that they're on the Chinese side, and not controlled by India.

China is in control both side. Helmet top and finger 4 is under chinese control. Pre empt would be valid if India either build roada up there or stopped PLA well before they were able to construct roads to the heights.
