Have you ever bought a pair of sneakers that you thought you absolutely loved, only to regret buying them later down the line? Some of the sneakers on this list I regretted buying almost immediately but I hope you can learn from the mistakes I made so you don’t end up wasting your money as I did!

I don't really have a huge shoe regret but I definitely have made the mistake of buying pairs just because they were on a crazy discount but ultimately I just found them to be somewhat decent and not something I truly loved at all. Better to have 1 amazing pair than 3 mediocre

Appreciate your honesty about falling for the hype about sneakers. As we’ve seen in a lot of other videos and press, the sneaker hype is way out of control, and hopefully it’s over.

‘You can appreciate a pair of sneakers without having to buy them’ - I’m finally realizing that, after amassing a shoe collection that I won’t live long enough to actually wear. I’m a sneaker head when it comes to skateboard brands (Vans, etnies, Globe). One annoying thing skateboard brands do is that they will make a model for only a year & then it’s gone forever. So when I find a model that I like, I will buy multiple pairs (think Vans Rowley XL2). I now look at all of these nice new shoes in their boxes & think, ‘What have I done?’ 🤷‍♂I’m currently in the process of selling the majority of my collection.

I discovered your channel through the video ‘I describe you from your sneakers’ Loved it, subscribed. Keep crackin’. 👍

This whole video is just- relatable, relatable, relatable. Everything down to seeing someone looking fresh with them on Pinterest. You’re not alone brother

amazing seeing a list like this that doesn't have a bunch of expensive regrettable purchases, these are much more relatable regrets 👌

I went through a Van’s phase about 5-6 years ago. I kept buying pairs, convincing myself I just bought the wrong color or model, and would buy another. Finally realized I just shouldn’t wear Van’s

Aw sad about the am90. Your pair looks so clean and I think it actually fits your style. My footwear regret actually falls to buying several loafers and boots, just cos I thought they're stylish and makes me look more professional. I ended up feeling out of place most of the time and not really myself. My workplace is pretty casual as well so I just left a pair of each for actual dressed up occasions.

Nike blazer mid 77 are my favorite shoes, they are comfortable as hell and they look amazing.

"Come in handy..or come in footy...because they go on your feet" takes guts to make a joke that bad, which is why it's so good! 😂

My biggest shoe regret was the AirMax97. There was a point of time where they were all the hype and I really liked them VISUALLY. I even tried it on in the stores and liked them but once i got them and wore them regularly, i didn't like the way they looked on me. They made my feet look so rounded and small for some reason and i avoided wearing it at all, even made it into my work shoes. I went for about 1+ year without wearing them that the reflective part of the shoe started to crack. Definitely my biggest regret.

Funnily enough my biggest regret are the Mexico 66's that I bought after first seeing you mention them. I love the way they look and the vibe they give off, just not on my feet.

One time I ordered a pair of Jordans ONLINE, and after getting them, I realized I got a kids size and not men’s. $115 down the drain, and to make matters worse the shoes I bought had no refunds and I couldn’t turn them into any local Nike store. Because they thought they were fake.

Loved the part where you said you felt sick for buying dunks and showed the footage of kid who is actually sick on bed 😂 Another gem of video

Jordan 1s. Never been a big sneaker person but I tired it out cause I love the way they look. But I never wear them and wouldn’t buy another pair

i bought an all grey pair of magriela replicas because they were in a massive sale (but still expensive).
i loved how they look, but this all grey was very hard to combine with any of my outfits.
so i ended up selling them after 3x of wear 🥶

I think this stems from people no longer buying what they love with wisdom, but out of fear and greed. It sounds harsh but I believe it’s true.

Sizing was my main issue, a lot of men's footwear starts at size 7, I am a size 5 in my Baker shoes and size 6 in pretty much everything else. For years I would buy size 7 and try to make it work as it was mostly the only choice I had if I wanted that shoe. When shoe size comes up in conversations with people, especially women, saying I have size 6 feet is somehow not an appealing male trait so this also pushed me to get the bigger size and I would deal with the hassle of them not being quite right. I now look to buy the same footwear in the women's version so I can get the size!

Every Yeezy that I own. And it’s mostly because it’s a odd shaped chunky shoe that’s hard to style with jeans.

Honestly, I don't have any shoe regrets. They all serve a purpose in my wardrobe. I am not swayed by hype or trends, it's purely "love at first site".
The way I buy anything: If I'm not going to use it once a day, week or month, I don't need it.
