After half of all life is snapped away by Thanos, the Avengers are left scattered and divided. It doesn't matter how many times I have seen this scene, I cry each time knowing the fact that all Scott wanted to do was be a part of Cassie's life after missing so much of it already.

It's amazing that before this movie, Ant-Man never encountered an Infinity Stone. He never even heard of Thanos before the snap. All he wanted was to have a good relationship with his daughter and the famous scientist and Hope. He escapes the Quantum Realm after what seems like 5 hours and almost all of that is gone. He's a character that's played for laughs but his reaction to what is happening is the most human of all of the Avengers.

This scene was so impactful to me in this movie. I think it gets overlooked, and it just drives home the reality of the situation the rest of the world is dealing with.

This scene hit me so hard. I served and when I came home to surprise my daughter and family she looked so grown to me. I felt like she was daddy’s little girl when I left and when I got back she was just so tall to me. Her hair was so long and she had a bit of makeup on. My heart completely dropped. I think 30 mins went by before we let go of each other. So when we watched this scene I told her I knew how he felt. And she said she knew how she felt. Corny I know

There are very few moments in the MCU that hit you in the feels every time.

When MJ falls off the Statue of Liberty, my heart and stomach sinks and I wonder if this is the time she won’t be saved…

Or moments like this, when a very confused dad walks up the vanished memorial… my body shivers every time looking at those names and then I wonder, will Cassie’s name be on it? Every time. I cry with Scott and Cassie when they reunite.
