"a chance" ... it's well beyond inevitable that Immoral will gross drastically higher profits than Diablo 4. I just hope that when it does, the board doesn't move to have Blizzard forget about making future main-series Diablo games... I mean it'd financially make more sense for them to release Diablo Immortal 2, than it would Diablo 5.

This is depressing because it means it's successful and proves that this sort of blatantly consumer unfriendly practice makes a lot of money. Meaning more and more games will start being like this.

Looking into how much has been added since launching, it really isn't much. One dungeon, a few raid bosses, and some limited time events. I played the game a ton and actually liked it, but I just don't see how anyone could keep going, much less keep spending. They even recently did server merges because the number of players have been dropping so low that the shadow war wasn't working in a lot of places.
