You can tell both are just so happy their characters are getting the respect they deserve. And this EPIC score just adds on top of that

I like to believe it wasn't just two people bridging the gap instead of one that stopped them from dying. But rather, the sheer awe of the moment, the unity, the adrenaline, and Deadpool seeing Wolverine's abs, had put both their healing factors into overdrive.

This is top-level Marvel (now including the 20th Century Fox heroes). They find ways to inject heart into their characters, crafting heroes with motivations that an audience can relate to - a desire to matter, regret for past actions, imposter syndrome, etc.
