The modular hardware is complimented by three software integration levels designed to address the full range of clients’ needs. From purchasing the hardware only, to integrate into bespoke software, to buying a complete, multi-strategy order fulfilment solution (PCD PTL) or anything in between.
The 3 software integration levels in short:
• Level 1: Pcdata provides a tool called Display Manager, with which the customer can communicate with the hardware building blocks. Display Manager allows for direct communication with Pcdata’s Pick to Light hardware components. Ideal for system integrators or end users to integrate Pcdata PTL hardware into their own solutions. Sophisticated WMS (warehouse management systems) or ERP (enterprise resource planning) solutions capable of completing all required warehouse and business intelligence can easily communicate with Pcdata’s Pick to Light hardware enabling visualisation of tasks and actions.
• Level 2: Pcdata offers a fixed functionality productivity tool that can be implemented in many different operations and order-picking environments. For instance Pickstar provides the traditional Pick to Light benefits including a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and reliability at a much lower investment.
• Level 3: PCD PTL provides a full pick-to-light suite including a full range of options that typically are needed in more complex warehouse environments. Including when automation integration is required, PCDPTL suite handles integration of conveyors and other automated systems as well as; weight-check, workload balancing, replenishment solutions and many more.
