Steve Reich's Electric Counterpoint (1987) is one of the foremost pieces written for electric guitar ensemble. Although the original requires thirteen parts (11 guitars and 2 basses), this adaptation for eight (6 guitars, 1 bass, and 1 Beartrax) manages to maintain as many as nine canonical voices at a time. The contrapuntal themes, metric modulations, and infectious grooves of movement three are perfectly suited to our Interlocking Textures program.

Very well done! This is beautiful, 8 people playing their parts to weave an intricate canvas of rhythms and dancing notes. The mix on this is also great for headphones and stereo since each instrument is it's own unique tone and channel. Very memorable. Cheers!
