Get out of here with your other state comparisons. This kid is a sophomore. 4:16 for a sophomore is solid. On top of the triple? That's extremely impressive as a sophomore

Strohman is not the only one who caught up with the leader after the second lap. ;-)

where's the competition though? Ryan Hall won my state meet back in 2000 with a 4:01

I know Noah strohman, and I’ve also ran against him. He needs more competition and faster runners on him from the start for him to actually run his fast times. I mean bro ran like a 4:07 off the start of track season.

Impressive no matter where. Yet, California H.S. track is full of much better times in double efforts; 400/800 sub 47 and sub 1:49, mile 2mile 4:05 sub 9:00 often sub 8:50 and within a year or two of graduation never emerge on to the scene. Just look at the national records for the various events. Only one Galen Rupp ever medaled at a world class event.

Do away with classes and have a one day meet like Indiana does.

Great race for a sophomore with poor form. He is likely to get better.
