When we decided we wanted to get married, my now husband said "no credit cards". God bless that man. That was 41+ years ago and never had a credit card or been in dept.

I got farm eggs ( delicious ) from the man who repairs my car-he lives on a farm- for $4 a dozen. I could have gotten 18 for $5. There were only two dozen on hand so I only bought one dozen and left the other one for someone else. But it was a real blessing to see. May God bless this (Christian) man for leaving his price the same.

I've started playing a mind game with myself called " half as much. " For example; use half as much coffee creamer, half as much butter, salad dressing, toothpaste, shampoo etc. Its just a way to save a little extra. 😊

Great show today. I would rather spend $6.00 on a dozen eggs that will last me probably a week than $10.00 on a pack of cigarettes that will only last me a day (maybe).

I do so many things you recommend. When hubby retired, we downsized large family home for a small home on land. Hubby took to gardening and I started canning again. Getting debt free was such a blessing. I'm not really stocking up any differently.

Hello everyone from my Wisconsin Farm! I’m first! As of now stock market is up + $2476.75, 6.58%!
I bought TP today! (the stock market is still up like 80% from just a few years ago. People need to just relax) nobody complained in 2022 because the media didn’t tell them to panic. People need to stop listening to the media.

My husband is 62 and I am 58 and we retired recently. Part of our income is from the stock market. We are not panicking. People are over-reacting. Take a deep breath, this too shall pass.

As far as the Stock Market...
"Sell High, Buy Low"
As far as the Price of Eggs...
My Son worked at ChickMaster, the Biggest Poultry Incubator Manufacturer in the USA. Because, the American Owner of the company wanted to Retire, which is perfectly normal thing to do, the company was listed for Sale. Unfortunately, no one in the USA wanted to buy the Company, Patents and/or the Facility. It was all sold to a conglomerate in the Netherlands that owns Poultry Equipment Manufacturers, Hatcheries, Egg Layer Farms, Meat Grower Farms and Poultry Processors worldwide.
They happened to, also, own a similar business in Ontario, Canada that makes smaller Incubators in a building with more space for manufacturing Incubators at a lower wage. The Canadians had to be trained to assemble the US Patented Incubator by my American Son.
So, who's at falter that my son is out of a job that he loved building Poultry Incubators for American Farmers to feed American Families.
I think it's the American Consumers that don't know or understand how those Eggs got in the carton or Chicken Parts got on the Styrofoam Trays at the Grocery Store or owned a productive needed American Business.

My husband retired in November. I didn’t feel well about keeping our 401 K sitting there. We moved our money out in January. I’m glad I did.
