I love how amity is just like " Luz don't scare the child."

This is how i can see it playing out:

Past luz: (Bombards her with questions)
Luz: *stays silent*
Amity: *walks over and rests hand on luz’s shoulder* “luz do you-“
Luz: I’m fine *smiles*
Past amity: *smirks*
Amity: *leads luz away*
*silence*
Amity: “she’s just how I remember” *laughs*
Luz: *gets defensive saying she hasn’t changed*
Amity: “luz I didn’t mean/“
Luz: “I get it. (Says something heart wrenching)

I think by the end of the episode the moral will be that even though people change it isn’t a bad thing and learning for the better is what we do.
I also think that there will be some drama with past amity.

I’m making this all up because s3 is shortened and it’s very unlikely that we’ll ever get an episode like this

Future Luz’s eyes are far more dull than past luz. Intentional or not I think it really sells the difference between them.
Past luz: childlike innocence, eyes bright
Future luz: she’s seen some shit, she’s heavily traumatized, and her eyes lack any shine they once had. Almost as if she’s just dead inside

I love how Dana didn't just brush aside the effects of what Luz went through, but it still pains me, seeing her lose her happy and optimistic behavior, she's one example of character development in the negative direction
