I think the way you pronounced 'literally' is the British pronunciation. Usually when I hear Americans speak, they say it like 'lidərəli', 4-syllable, with the d sound replacing the letter T. Brits say it like 'litrəli' kinda the way you did in the video.

Notes (New York native speaker):
Vocabulary - We tend to pronounce the "u" as a "yu"
Literally - the e is pronounced as an "i" (as in bird), and the t is pronounced like the "tt" in "butter", the lichrully pronunciation sounds British to me
Asylum - The "u" is like the "a" in "about", not the "i" in "literally"
