I remember getting a scholarship to not a top 25 school for baseball and football. And they treated me good. I didn't care about money. I was happy that I would play at the next level

You mean to tell me that he HONESTLY BELIEVES that Nick Saban was Recruiting completely above board and hasn't been paying players for the last decade and a half??
I believe it was either the 2015 or 2016 Alabama team that like 90 percent of the team were all driving brand new Camaros and Mustangs when almost ALL OF THEM came from the extremely poor Rural south ..
No, he wasn't. The REAL reason Nick Saban is pissed off, is because the NCAA gave him a get out of jail free card his entire tenure at Alabam when it comes to shady recruiting because they sold a shit ton of Merchandise and got great national television ratings. This guy has been one of the dirtiest recruiters in the nation and was paying players LONG before it was basically green lighted to do so.
Did winning a ton help recruiting? Of course it did.
But let's not Pretend that we ALL didn't know for an absolute fact that Georgia and Alabama weren't two of the schools that the NCAA redacted in their investigation release into Leo Lewis. If that was a school like Michigan or Notre Dame (great programs but not the ELITE MONEY MAKERS such as Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, and Ohio State) they'd be under so many NCAA Recruiting violation punishments it'd make your head explode if they EVER thought about Recruiting the same way the SEC and Ohio State bent the rules Recruiting.

His comments about hating NIL only comes down to now the other coaches he's Recruiting against can do the same things he's been doing for years so he knows his massive Recruiting advantages year in and year out just got destroyed. And he HATES the fact that he's no longer gonna be able to get any recruit he wants simply because they're a winning program that can pay the students and their families however much money they want. Now all the schools that weren't being shady like Alabama Georgia Clemson and O$u can compete with them in Recruiting and he HATES IT

Saban is NOT the greatest coach but he is the greatest recruiter. When i watch the game Alabama doesn't use tricks and gimmicks, they simply have the better players. Look at players in the NFL from Alabama and tell me which ones wouldn't be in the league without attending Alabama?
