If you’ve been looking for guidance setting up your Hyperx Cloud 2 Headset, look no further.

In this video I show you how to do the following with your HyperX cloud 2:

1. Download and install HyperX Cloud 2 Firmware Update - this includes the HyperX Cloud 2 Drivers.

2. Update firmware to the latest version(super important if you plan to use with 7.1 surround sound on PS4 )

3. Connect your HyperX Cloud 2 to your PC, set the default recording, playback devices, and increase mic sensitivity.

4. HyperX Cloud 2 PS4 setup - after the latest firmware update, the soundcard works with PS4 allowing you to control mic, volume, and 7.1 surround sound levels

Follow the above simple steps and you’ll be ready to go and use your HyperX Cloud 2 Gaming Headset for loads of fun.

Thanks for the review, I bought these headphones and I was about to return them. Because I couldn't control the sound of the microphone and the audio. Thanks to you I discovered that I had a firmware update to be able to use the usb controller card. And now it works perfectly on my PlayStation 4 slim. I can control the sound and microphone volume without having to use the PS menu, thank you.

Great video man thank you for getting straight to the point and keeping it clear but I have one question, can I plug the headset directly in to my pc or do I need to connect it to the adapter and then in to the pc?

yo man the problem with me is that i cant change the volume its standard 0 and cant change it, its locked

For anyone who can't raise their microphone level from zero and have tried the fixes offered in the comments make sure that in your "Microphone Privacy Settings" you have "Allow apps to access your microphone" & "Allow desktop apps to access your microphone" set to on. Mine was disabled.

At 2:30 of your video, when I double clicked the headphones to check the levels for the headset, they were at zero and I cannot move or change it. It also says it in db, not % - I'm trying to get my mic so I can hear myself talk in my headset - is that even possible with this headset? I have done the firmware update from 0030 to 0010

Got to 2:38 in the vid and im trying to adjust the level of the microphone but its not letting me move it from 0 and obviously the mic isnt picking up my voice as a result, any idea why that might be? Thanks
