So my lets say guardian when I was a kid i still hang out with and they're starting to get used to being retired and they tell me things from time to time that i probably shouldn't know. During the R&D part of the iraq war darpa had some sort of metallurgist wizard because he combined molten 1/4 armor plate unsure what thickness so measurements are rough and will need tuning. As well as a mixture of soft crystals pulverized along with glass. And aluminum. Mixed it together thoroughly and then poured it thin and large it was said to be almost non-Newtonian in the sense that it was flexible steel and somewhere in-between a lightweight and moderate weight metals with the stopping ridgitity of steel. Because it begins to flex until it responds by almost a inate reaction to surrounding magnetic fields and the atoms lined up with the introduction of energy in the form of kinetic energy. That's my best description. Im probably way off with my recipe but someone should try it I'd love to see it. Or if anyone else out there knows what im talking about correct me on anything I might have gotten wrong.
