Drone ASMR 2 - DJI Avata, Mavic 3, Mini 3, Inspire 2

DJI Drones have some very unique propeller sounds. Each drone has a slightly different tone depending on the size and shape of the propellers. It’s important to become familiar with the sounds your drone makes because it can be an early indication of something wrong with your drone.

Drones with damaged or broken propellers can affect flight times and power output. Always ensure that your drone propellers are in good condition to prevent any accidents. When you have a crash it is recommended to replace any damaged propellers. Propellers can also be damaged while in transport if they aren’t properly packed away, which can change their shape or cause them to break.

Larger drones like the M600 will make more noise because of the weight they carry. Smaller drones like the Mini 3 Pro will be quieter because they are lightweight. The mini drones are under 250 grams, so they are some of the quietest DJI drones.

When you are outside flying, there is a good chance that others can hear your drone. You always want to be considerate of other people and not cause any unnecessary annoyances. This is a good reason to go for a smaller drone because it is more silent. Noise can negatively impact wildlife as well, so be careful when you are out in nature. During certain times of the year animals can be more territorial or in mating season, which will make them more aggressive.

I’ve always wondered why DJI makes their drones motors idle at different rpm’s. The inspire 1 (not the one shown here, that is the inspire 2) sounds like it’s going to take off any second.
