WeChat: How One App Came to Rule China

In China, WeChat is much more than a messaging app. Chinese people transfer money, pay for groceries, book doctor's appointments and even find their soulmates on this app.

This is a disgusting APP! I have a Chinese friend studying in Europe, she told me she was speaking on the Chinese WeChat app about human rights in China, some silly point that there are no human rights in China because the government is blocking them from flying back due to Coronavirus or some silly point like that. The police turned up at her parents home in China threatening them and said that her daughter has to stop speaking like that. So WeChat is sending data of its users in Europe to the police in China which then they use to threaten their families in China. China makes me SICK!
