Planning on buying this device but I've tested it out through my phone's hotspot it was working great on its own but it couldn't connect to AA cuz the hotspot option on the tbox was grayed out. Does this mean I can't use wireless AA unless I buy a separate sim card? Cuz my phone's hotspot does the job I don't want to buy a new one

I connect my phone to the car via Bluetooth, and connect the AIBox via cable without SIMcard. I don't use Carplay or Android Auto between IABox and my phone. So what happened, if I use Waze on AIBox and I got or recieve a phone call. How it works, what happened? Could you give some usefull information, or take a video?

Hey Harry, I've got a question you might know the answer to.

Since a couple of days, I can't skip forward to the next track on youtube. I mean, in the car, that doesn't work. On my phone it does still work. It's just when it's connected to AA, there's simply no way to skip forward or back.

Even the on screen buttons to go to the next or previous tracks don't work.

Weirdly, the buttons to fast forward within one video do work.

I have absolutely no clue what's going on. I haven't changed any setting.

I'm using AA wired, with the Fermata auto app.

I have a kronos KR1-T3 multimedia and a Carlinkit CPC200-CCPA to enable my iPhone. When I access Waze, the volume is very low compared to the radio and I can hardly hear the instructions needing to turn up the car stereo a lot to understand, and then turn it down again to go back to the radio; would there be any way to solve this, so I can improve the sound of Waze in Apple CarPlay.
