Bought the quest from a local Nike outlet store on sale for only $48.00 not for running but to take to Disneyland as an all day walking shoe. Tried it on in store and felt great and for the price was even better. I must say I had all day comfort and I will look for more colorways as we do have Disneyland yearly passes. I’m sure the vomero is a fine shoe for runners but if you love steals and deals as I do and are looking for an all day comfortable walking shoe the quest is a great buy

I just bought the Nike Vomero 18, they are super small in design. Buy one size bigger, my foot got all kinds of blisters and other issues.

It's just better to wait for discounts than to buy cheap Nike shoes full price.
Adidas Supernova Rise & Adizero SL2 went down to just $60+ in my country while some Peg 41 & Structure 25 colorways are also discounted by 50% at outlets. I think you can also get Winflo 11's for $60. I even got a Duramo Speed as a beater shoe for under $30.
There's also Chinese brand options, you can get something with similar midsole to a Peg 41 from Xtep for under $50. 361 Degrees Eleos will also beat any cheap Nike shoes.

Can go even cheaper. My first running shoes were Under Armour Charged Rogue (or something like that), £40 brand new. They fit perfectly and the firm midsole was fine for an overweight guy

I’m a beginner runner, don’t have good shoes, and the ones on bu budget are the Downshifter 13, Patriot 13, revolution 7, Quest 6, Runfalcon 5, Duramo speed or even the Gel Pulse 15… I really need help because I don’t know anything about running and don’t have a runner shop that does the studies… which one should I get? I think I'm stepping too hard so I'd like something that cushions.
