I mean it landed in the groin but by this point Ken was done. I've never seen anyone keep cupping their balls like that when taking punches.

First knee landed on the groin. Every man knows it takes a second to register most times.

This is clickbait. They watched the replay again and Jimmy Smith immediately apologized to Ken on air.

Jimmy Smith is usually pretty solid but clearly not wearing his glasses here, couldn't be more wrong

It was a bit of a late reaction, but how are the commentators talking about the second knee that happened once he's already reacting to the groin shot and obviously missed, instead of the one right before that. The first one is clear as day.

I does bug me when fighters continue to cover up when the referee obviously missed the rulebreak. They are either very injured like with bad eye pokes, or they could tell they were going to lose and are praying that it will get overturned to a "No Contest" if there's enough public outcry. Like a groin shot sucks, but unless it's really bad like full force kick to balls (you should still have a cup though), then shake it off and continue if the ref didn't see it and isn't giving you the 5min break. Don't just curl up and take the loss. Eyepokes are a whole 'nother story though. They are way worse and have worse repercussions, and even if it doesn't permanently blind you, it can temporarily blind you on top of the pain, which could lead to even worse injury because you can't defend or brace for what you can't see.
