1st ODI | Highlights | New Zealand Tour Of Sri Lanka | 13th November 2024

In the first ODI, Sri Lanka and New Zealand played head-to-head at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium. Sri Lanka batted first and posted a massive total of 324 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Avishka Fernando and Kusal Mendis scored a century each for Sri Lanka. The match was later interrupted by rain and hence the overs were reduced to half. New Zealand had a revised target of 221 runs but only scored 175 in the end. Sri Lanka secured a 45-run win and went 1 up in the 3-match ODI series.
