It’s starting to feel like an artists colony at Lalande! Will Michael paint? Will Jerrod return? Will Vivian come an make gorgeous pottery? So many artistic friends. We wait with bated breath to see who shows up next!

I watch a number of painting restoration channels and I actually think it looks like the paler tones in her face may be the original color of the painting if you had it cleaned. Often the original varnish yellows with age and it’s amazing what details can be revealed after having a painting cleaned/ restored. Baumgartner Restoration is a great channel to look at and get a feel for how old paintings yellow with age and can really come alive with some cleaning.
