Came across your video, I currently have a DR900x from Blackvue, and have NOT as yet installed the Blackvue Battery, which I would be installing in my new BYD ATTO 3 Electric Car...
I am thinking about buying a complete new setup, as I currently have the DR950 with IR for the front as I am an Uber Driver, and the DR750 for the Rear....these cameras have come in very helpful many times hen the police had to be called to 2 Nose to Tail collisions, and one with the IR camera recording a guy laying into his girlfriend, in the backseat....of my uber, this recording was able to be downloaded, to the tablet, then shown to police who recorded on their body cams, WOW!! amazing Technology.

I will be doing a complete install of the new cameras in the new BYD Electric car, as I am leaving the old DR900x in the Outlander as it would go with the car when it gets sold, this way it will increase the price somewhat when sold...the new cameras, I will be installing the Battery module, and the LTE hotspot module as well, so that my car is always connected...

I was very impressed in your video, showing in real time, how quick it is, and the easy pairing, thought WOW, so bloody fast, and the download speeds as well, amazing....thank-you for the informative video,

I run 900 2 channel and just picked up this 970 2 channel. Is it a matter of just swapping out the cameras? All wiring remains the same? Thank you

If I do not have a cloud plan and my camera is connected to a home network, would I still receive parking mode notifications? Also, what Samsung SD card do you use/recommend?

Question: In the manual for the DR970X Plus it states that if parking mode is enabled it will enter parking mode if car switched off or if it is stationary for more than 5 minutes (G-Sensor). I am looking at getting this model and I was curious if plugged in to an always on power accessory socket, would this work to enter parking mode if car was sitting idle for over 5 minutes even if power is present. I ask because I have an always on accessory power outlet. As opposed to hardwiring to battery or fuse tap. realize it may not protect battery drain. Just wonder if it is possible.

I recently had a Blackvue DR800 Gold Series dash cam installed in my car, and I'm trying to figure out how to set up CLOUD access for it. To enable CLOUD access, do I need to connect the camera to my local Wi-Fi network at home? Or is there a specific process for connecting to the Blackvue CLOUD using the SSID, password, and CLOUD code provided with the camera? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I am located in Australia. Thank you!

I have to say the app is not that easy to use. I have older BlackVue and going back and forth with the connections is not ideal when I want to view a file or make adjustments. Maybe it’s better than other brands, but…. The cameras themselves are great. So far I have not used the cloud plan they have. I do wonder, if there was a crash and the camera or card was damaged, it would be nice to recover the video of the event if it were I continuously uploaded to the cloud. I need to research this more, but I really would like to upgrade to theses new 4k cameras.

I have a T-Mobile sim card already active on a tablet plan...I was using for my aftermarket radio, but when I put it into the camera, it says it sees it and tells me congrats....but I still dont have lte cloud connection????

Have you figured out a 3rd party battery solution vs what blackvue has to offer? My dream setup would be using my BlackVue bat with an expanded 3rd party, as long as it’s safe to do

Can i ask, may seem a stupid question...but if youre washing the car for hours wont it go into parking mode or should you turn the oarking mode off everytine you wash it

doesnt the 970x-2ch have built in lte? i thought all you needed was a sim card and no lte module.
