Ford Lightning Build - Supercharger and Intercooler Install

In today's video, we go over how to install the Jokerz Performance ported and powder coated Supercharger, Midplate, and Trick Performance Intercooler on the Ford SVT Lightning project race truck build! Installing the blower went good, its easy to do, and it's almost ready to make some boost and whine!

When you get gaskets get 2 or 3 felt tiped paint pens. They are so much faster and you can mark with multiple colors and aulternate between dots and dashes to keep track. Remove fittings before marking to avoid smudging off your paint.

For the metal gaskets don’t use RTV use the copper spray watch Steve Morris, assemble some of his motors on his YouTube channel can even use it on his head gaskets

Thanks for the vid. I just got a "1000hp shortblock" built so I can add some goodies. Anyway, now I did not even know there was an intercooler available! I may have found later but thanks to you I did now. I'm only at 410rwhp with bolt ons. Where are you with mods?

Any chance you could make or know of a full detailed video on every port on the supercharger itself I can’t find anything online but I’m making one fit my 11 cvpi 4.6 with a custom intake manifold

Sick set up that intercooler where an you get it? I’m running a roush m112 set up in my 08 expedition 5.4 3v and my temps stay around 107 to 115 max but I’m in north ga now and daily temps stay between 65 to 80 max in the mountains.

Use anerobic sealant next time you go aluminum to aluminum. Ultra black can damage your shit. Kenne Bell specs this to keep your warranty.
