What Does a Passive Multiple Do? (Modular Synth 101 | Part 1)

I've been asked this question several times, so I decided to do a video explaining what a multiple does. It's pretty self-explanatory but hopefully this video is helpful to someone. The mult I use is made by Rakit.

Hi! What is the difference between this and a multiplier cable? I mean, apart of the convenience and order of using it in a rack. I imagine it still have loses in voltage, right? Thanks!
