We just added a big man that you have to stay with cause he shoots 40% from 3. That opens the lanes for JB. This is a huge upgrade at the 5. Porzingis and Embiid can’t sit in the lane like before cause we now have the 3 pt threat at the 5 position.

I was happy with all they roster moves until this one... all Randle haters can be happy now... i rather seen what we had 1st before making moves getting an injury prone player

I don't like it, I feel like the Knicks betrayed Randle. He started all of this by being the only star free agent willing to come to NY. The Knicks finally have a chance to possibly take it all this year and they took that away from him. The Knicks were going to be a great team regardless if they made this trade or not.

I think Donte's value was a little over done due to the career year. He was only getting like 15-20 off the bench this year. You got Cam Payne behind Brunson and now they gonna have the min to develop Kolek and Deuce..Shamet could get some min as 3 pt shooter.. Did anybody watch any Minnesota games last year? They were 2nd best defensive team and Towns showed he could contribute to that.

I'm nervous. I really believe this trade ended up happening because of Robinson's injury and failing to get another center. I personally wanted to see Randle stay but it is about what the front office and coaches see as the best fit for the team. I will miss Donte, but if we win it won't matter.
