The residency thing is actually a name he gives to every performance he did and will do in little theaters like the one for the jimmy fallon show performance and this one, to help raise fund for little theaters to be able to face difficult times due to covid. Also this is definitely not pre-recorded. Shawn is known for always singing live.

you should really react to/watch him singing why and where were you in the morning on his last tour!! the audios obviously aren't the clearest because it's all fan recorded at concerts but the performances are absolutely insane!! all of them were good but i can recommend why in barcelona and where were you in the morning in miami, those were nuts

Yayyy love Shawn reactions!! You should totally check out Jamie Cullum's Song Society if you wanna see something pretty different and jazzy!!! He covers a bunch of songs but the principle that surrounds the concept is really unique. He and his band have only an hour to learn a song and it's all about accepting the music and the mistakes that come with it.

Come on man! Just enjoy the song and don't stop it all the time. It' really, really annoying! Suggestion: listen to it once without interruptions and then re-play it going to the most salient moments where you have to comment. Or if there's something you have to say right away (like the keyboard comment), just do it without stopping the song. It's really the basis come on!
