Back out on the coast again this last weekend with the family. You know I had to stop by the skatepark to get in a few airs and grinds! In this week's episode of T+R, we are finally back out at the kinda new Newport Oregon skatepark.

Inline skating is dangerous. In some situations, I may choose to skate
without protective gear at my own risk. I highly encourage the use of protective gear.

Thanks for watching!

Great video. I came here from your stopping tutorial. If I could suggest one thing, you should post a condensed version of just the skating as a video as well, maybe also as a reel/TikTok/shorts to get more of a reach

I started watching this channel around 6 months back before I started aggressive inlines.. i was so astounded by the cinematography and skill level you presented on rollerblades. Every video/tutorial has been very helpful! Thank you for making great content for this sport. Idk how you film yourself so well~

Love how that's so close to the beach as well! I'll really need to check out these spots next time we are out that way. Excellent edit and super smooth tricks despite the bumpy feel of the park.

Subbed, this is legit. WHEW!! I balded for the first time since I was a kid just last week lol. I am 37. It was exhilarating and terrifying because stopped and slowing was so hard. I just rode until I slowed and/or went into grass constantly. I know ill get better, but I am gonna head to the school nearby this weekend and practice slowing and stopping techniques.

I am living in Oregon and recently just picked up inline skating again. I skated for 10+ years and then took a 20 year break. I've had a few sessions and I got my balance back as soon as I put my skates back on, so I am thankful for that. I've been scoping out skate parks and it seems you're around my parts in terms of locations that you've skated. The skate park in Lincoln city named along the lines Craddle park looks pretty tempting. I was researching it online and found an old reddit post stating that the skateboarders there get aggressive when anyone other then skateboarders try to session there. I am 40 and I don't want to deal with anyone being jerks / gatekeepers. Have you experienced any of that in Oregon?

Have you noticed any benefit of getting bones ceramic bearings when it comes to aggressive blading? I have them in my skateboard and they are very smooth/fast but I don't know if they're worth it compared to another regular bearing for blades (recommendations?)
